More than just a beautiful spot, Al Wathba Lake is a wildlife sanctuary representing the UAE’s dedication to sustainability. At Delight International Facilities Management, we believe that protecting the environment is our duty, rather than just a choice. In fact, we were really happy to get our hands dirty for a beautiful cause. Abu Dhabi City Municipality organized the Al Wathba Lake Cleaning Campaign in partnership with the Emirati Environment Friends Society. As we got invited for the campaign, without even thinking for a moment, we knew we were going to attend it as a team.
Surrounded by the flamingos and the scenic lake, it was a one-of-a-kind experience for all of us. From collecting litter to sharing some beautiful moments, it was at that instant that we realised how teamwork makes all the difference when it comes to protecting the natural beauty of our environment.
